Terms & Conditions
Automobility Club HSG
Last updated: September 2026
1. Scope
These Terms & Conditions govern the purchase and use of the Lifetime Membership of the Automobility Club HSG (the “Club”).
The Lifetime Membership entitles the respective person to membership in the Club in accordance with the Club’s applicable Articles of Association (the “Statutes”) and these Terms & Conditions.
Where these Terms & Conditions conflict with the Statutes or mandatory provisions of Swiss law, the Statutes and/or mandatory provisions of law shall prevail.
2. Purchase of the Lifetime Membership
The Lifetime Membership may be purchased by natural persons who meet the requirements for membership in the Club.
The Lifetime Membership is acquired upon full payment of the applicable one-time membership fee.
By purchasing the Lifetime Membership, the member agrees to these Terms & Conditions and the applicable Statutes of the Club.
Admission as a Club member remains subject to the requirements set out in the Statutes. Purchasing a Lifetime Membership does not create an entitlement to membership if the applicable statutory requirements are not met.
3. Scope of the Lifetime Membership
The Lifetime Membership constitutes a one-time, generally indefinite membership in the Club.
It provides access to the benefits available to Club members and the opportunity to participate in Club events and activities, subject to the applicable event conditions, capacity limitations and any other participation requirements.
The Lifetime Membership does not guarantee the organisation of any specific event, a specific number of events, or the continued availability of any particular benefit or service.
The Club may modify, replace or discontinue events, activities and membership benefits where this is necessary for organisational, financial, safety-related or other legitimate reasons.
4. One-Time Membership Fee
The Lifetime Membership is subject to change.
Upon payment, all ordinary membership fees for the duration of the Lifetime Membership are generally considered paid in full.
Additional fees may apply to individual events or activities where such fees are communicated clearly in advance and apply equally to other participating members.
5. Non-Transferability
The Lifetime Membership is personal and non-transferable.
It may not be sold, gifted, rented, assigned or otherwise transferred to another person.
This also applies in the event of the sale or transfer of any membership account associated with the Lifetime Membership.
6. Resignation
Resignation from the Club shall be governed by the applicable Statutes and Swiss law.
Upon resignation, the Lifetime Membership shall terminate.
The one-time Lifetime Membership fee is generally non-refundable in the event of voluntary resignation.
7. Exclusion from the Club
A member may be excluded from the Club under the circumstances and according to the procedures provided for in the Statutes and applicable law.
Upon exclusion from the Club, the Lifetime Membership shall terminate.
The one-time membership fee shall generally not be refunded following exclusion, unless otherwise required by the Statutes or mandatory provisions of law.
8. Conduct at Club Activities
Members are required to comply with the Statutes, applicable Club regulations and any rules established for individual events or activities.
The Club may refuse or restrict a person’s participation in an individual event where this is necessary due to their conduct, for safety reasons, or because of a violation of applicable rules.
Exclusion from an individual event does not, in itself, terminate the Lifetime Membership. Any exclusion from the Club as a whole shall be governed by the Statutes and applicable law.
9. Changes to the Club and Membership Benefits
The Lifetime Membership does not guarantee that the Club will continue to operate in its current form, under its current name, or with its current range of events and activities for the entire duration of the membership.
The Club may modify its organisation, events and membership benefits in accordance with applicable law and the Statutes.
Changes to individual benefits do not generally give rise to a right to a refund of the membership fee.
10. Dissolution of the Club
In the event of the dissolution of the Club, the Lifetime Membership shall terminate.
The dissolution of the Club shall be governed by applicable Swiss law and the Statutes.
The Lifetime Membership does not create any entitlement to a share of the Club’s assets.
11. Data Protection
The Club processes members’ personal data in accordance with applicable Swiss data protection law and to the extent necessary for the administration of memberships, organisation of Club activities and fulfilment of the Club’s purpose.
Further information regarding the processing of personal data may be provided in a separate Privacy Policy.
12. Liability
The Club shall be liable in accordance with applicable law.
Participation in Club events and activities is generally at the participant’s own risk. To the extent permitted by law, the Club shall not be liable for the loss of or damage to personal belongings.
Any limitation of liability shall not apply to liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
13. Refunds
Once the Lifetime Membership has been purchased, there is generally no entitlement to a refund of the one-time membership fee, including in cases of voluntary resignation, non-participation in events or activities, or subsequent non-use of the membership.
Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions and the relationship between the member and the Club shall be governed by Swiss law.
To the extent permitted by law, the courts at the registered seat of the Club shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from or in connection with the Lifetime Membership.
15. Effective Date and Amendments
These Terms & Conditions shall enter into force on 21.09.2026.
The Club may amend these Terms & Conditions in accordance with applicable law and the Statutes.
Amendments shall not apply retroactively to materially impair rights that have already accrued to existing Lifetime Members, unless required or permitted by applicable law.
